back to life, back to reality
A few of my favs from NEW YORK! We had a blast. My parents were in in the background on the today show. We got to see Matt Damon with his window down at a red light. We took a bus tour all around town and to the statue of liberty. We met up with my cousin who does hair there. We went to see The Lion King, the Rockettes, and Chicago! My time in New York was amazing, but I was running out of clothes so it was good to come home and do some laundry. But now I'm ready to go back! Enjoy guys! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you guys! xoxo

All around success story
WAAHOOO! It's done. School is over! Today was a success. The curls are from getting my hair done yesterday, my girl always curls my hair after she cuts it. I just wrapped the curls up and slept with it overnight. I can't curl my hair to save my life. The dress was found yesterday, after finally deciding I wanted to wear a dress. Found it at F21! And the stockings are a lavender floral print from Urban----found yesterday! The wedges were a been have. I've had those wedges from Aldo for a couple of years now. Love them! And finally, the cap! My mom and I painted the leopard print on there a couple of days ago. Understated, but fabulous.
Million dollar question, what do I want to do next?
Go to New York tomorrow! :D
Seriously, I'm leaving for NY tomorrow. Be back Friday!

ready for a new adventure?
This cream top has been in my closet for years now. My mom bought it for me like literally 7 years ago. We ALWAYS went shopping for a whole new outfit for the holidays and this was one of my tops we got for a Christmas outfit. Can't believe I have kept it that long, what can I say.

I will survive
Oh my goodness, thank all of you soooo much for the encouraging words. I am so thankful to have the support that I have as I am going through to the next stage in my life. I can't say it enough, but thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for continuing to follow, support, and inspire!
On another note, I survived black Friday. My sister-in-law and I went to target and to the mall, and we made it out alive. We went a little late, and when I say late I mean like 3:30 in the morning. The rush had already come and gone by the time we got there. It was a blast. I came out with a few good deals, and I plan to go back tomorrow! Not for me of course....I swear. ;)

Manager wanted needed
I am starting to get a little frustrated. I am graduating in about 2 weeks, and I have no idea what to do next. Yes, I am so excited to have the freedom to do whatever I want, but I can't figure out what exactly I want to do!!! I started this blog because I was interested in a career in fashion, I wanted this to possibly help me in achieving that. I still would like a career in fashion, but where do I start!? Frustration....

You were my first
Hellllllo all!
I'm home. I wish I wasn't. Good news though, graduation in less than a month. Sooooo, I will have the freedom to travel all around the world if I want. Yeah right, not enough funds, plus I have way too many clothes to bring along with me.
Well, here is a Missoni dress from target. The targets around here did not find it necessary to stock up on a lot of Missoni, so I was stuck with the only thing available besides some tank top thing. I do love the dress though, I also love that it is like an XL. Also, it was on sale. You know I love a sale!! The navy dress underneath is from forever21 recently. The beads on the collar are so adorable. And do not forget my navy Litas. My navy suedes have been getting the back seat since the patent blacks have come into the picture. I appologize, I still love you navy suede, you were my first! ;)

To Live and Die in LA
Heyyyy!
So I'm leaving in like 2 days to see my boyfriend! We're going to Vegas for their Marine Ball and then we're driving to LA for 2 days. I can't believe the day is almost here. Of course I can't wait to see Brandon, but I have been wanting to visit LA for a long time now. I'm excited to finally fit in somewhere with what I wear...haha! I'm sure I will get tons of inspiration, hopefully!

The graduation song always makes me cry
Hello all!
School is winding down. I believe I only have 5 weeks left! Then I graduate, and the day after that I'm off to New York. As of right now, that New York trip is just a vacation my parents are taking me on...I guess as kind of a graduation gift. Hopefully being in LA in about a week and then in New York, I will have a better vision as to where I want to be to start my career. I don't necessarily know what that career will be but, I' m so excited to see where this next year will take me!

Have you been?
Hello all!
I have been spending way too much money lately. But the seasons are changing, and you always have to get a few new pieces to add to your fall/winter wardrobe. Too bad a few to me means every piece that I feel like I can't live without...which is pretty much everything! Although, I ammmm doing some returns later. :) I'm also buying pieces for my trips I'm taking this year. In about 3 weeks, I'm going to another Marine Ball. It's in Vegas again, and I get to see my boyfriend!!! I haven't seen him since this summer when we went to San Diego. After the ball him and I are going to drive to LA for the weekend. I've never been, so excited! Also in December, I'm going with my mom and dad to New York...Manhattan. We're leaving the day after I graduate. WOOHOO! I'm soooo pumped!
So tell me, where are the best vintage shops? (LA&NY)

Between the Sheets
Hey guys!
I've been getting some good inspiration lately. I guess from all of the fashion night outs and fashion weeks, the killer outfits come out to the streets! My inspiration folder is getting bigger! Loves itttt. So here's a scarf that had too great of a pattern to ever get rid of, I believe it's from when I was in high school. I cut it to make it thinner and now it's a headband! These J Crew shorts were only $10 from Platos Closet, and the top was also a great cheap sale item from urban outfitters----(man, urban should be paying ME for all of the publicity I give them, lol)
Also, last weekend I went to the Hanson concert with my friends. I was never really big into Hanson, but I knew a New Orleans trip to the House of Blues would be fun. Their opening act was this singer named Meiko. I loved her! I think I could have just listened to her music all night. She was so awesome in concert, I love when the performers interact with the crowd. She talked to us more than Hanson did! Anywayssss, love her go check her out!

Outcast
Well our mornings at least feel like autumn. WoooHOooo!
I got this skirt from forever21 for only like $4, I find a lot of great "unique" pieces at the forever21 in Louisiana where I live. People are afraid here. They don't take many risks with clothing. I go to school with a tye dye shirt over my blue and white striped romper, and I get the funny looks. Well, I take it as a compliment. Maybe today I'll wear a little harem pant and a sequin, just to ruffle some feathers. ;D
