inspiration

Here are some of my favorite inspirational pics from the past few months. About 2 years ago was when I came across this world of expression and all things fashion. I feel in love and wanted more! I began stalking blogs not knowing that I could one day have my own. I began to keep a folder that was named inspiration and kept it on my desktop. I saved pictures of my favorite outfits. It started with one folder of different girl's blogs. As I feel in love with new blogs I made them their own folder with all of my favorite outfits of theirs. I have about 13 of my favorite girl's saved in their own folder. This sounded very creepy stalker like as I was typing this, but I know I'm not the only one! Right? :/

tonight's gonna be a good night

Ordered the most perfect tote today. It's sold out everywhere I've looked. Finally got a hold of one in a MA store. Should be arriving next week! Going out with Brandon and some of our friends tonight...can't wait!

And he's back in my arms

Just picked him up! My Marine is home. Sooo handsome!! I've been crying all day just thinking about seeing him, I cried as he was walking through the tunnel to come meet us, and I cried when I was finally in his arms. Ohhh my goodness, I am soo happy. I hate that I have to go to work tomorrow, but hopefully he will come visit me and take me to lunch.

through the bad, i shine

Today started off annoying. I drove to school, which is about an hour commute, only to find out that my class was canceled. I started on my way to work only to find out that traffic was terrible because only one lane was open. As soon as work was done my friend and I went to sushi. Sushi makes everything better. Then I got home and saw that my Urban Outfitter's package came! Ending the day on a good note. Oh and I'm going pick up Brandon tomorrow from the airport. I haven't seen him since last July. I am sooooo ready to hold him in my arms!

Lacey Tuesday

This outfit is one of my favs right now. It's a gray tunic that is almost too short. A lace shirt and a neonish yellow striped sweater. And not to mention my Jeffrey's. Lovingggg.

This outfit includes my navy romper with a beautiful rust sweater over it. I love using my romper in diferent ways. Another tip...use rompers for shorts, use dresses for skirts. It will expand your closet and give many outfit options.

FoxyLita

Hello followers. It's been a great day. I woke up this morning at 7:30ish, so the day seemed like it went on forever. My mom cooked gumbo. My dad and I watched football.<---weird, because I normally don't follow...but anyways like I said today was a good day. Tomorrow it's back to school and work..dreadding dreadding dreadding this work/school week. But I do have something to look forward to. Brandon comes home Thursday. His parents and I are going pick him up from the airport. Pretty pumped, so I'm warning you now. I'm not planing on it, but sorry if I begin to slack a little these next few weeks.

The outfit...I can't seem to get rid of this old Fox jacket for some reason. I love the pattern too much I guess. The white tee is actually covered with silver studs, you can't really tell in the pictures. I wore it about a week ago also and you couldn't tell. The belt is leopard print. And my wonderful Litas...sigh

Another lazy weekend. I haven't done much, although I did go shopping today. Spent way too much money. Hope you enjoy the outfit!

i'm neutral baby

I'm in love with this combo. The striped sweater is white with black stripes. The polkadot shirt is navy with white dots. And the leggings are black. I love mixing those neutrals together. And the taupe shoes just set it off. :)

Oh and just a little side note, the polkadot shirt is actually backwards. The front had a V neck like the sweater so to really see the polkadot top I turned it around. Try it with your favorite dresses and tops. It makes you think that you have more clothes in your closet than you actually do.

cat in the hat?

I bought a couple of hats like this about a month ago and I just started wearing them. I bent the side up to make it look a little better. I used to think my face was not made for hats, but I've found a couple I love. I will post the other one soon.

school is for fools

My first days of school have been lame. 3 of my 5 classes will have presentations. I hate the idea of presentations, but when it comes down to the day of I'm so prepared with note cards and a written out speech that I've memorized that I don't really get nervous once I start to speak. I am so ready to be done with school, so I can go live my life. I have plans that need to get started before I get too old.

my marine

My Marine is coming home next week! I'm very excited about that. I am also excited that we will be getting on a plane to go to Cali and then to Vegas for a Marine ball.
This Marine vintage tee is from ebay and I love it. It's like an XXL, which makes it even more perfect.

thrifted is not a word

Finally went shopping today...have a lot of cute things to show youuuuu. As you know by now, I like to point out my favorites in my posts. Well, this necklace is by far my favorite piece of jewelry. Possibly my favorite thing I've ever owned. The color, the length, the shape..it all works! I am so lucky to have it. I passed it up the first time I saw it at a thrift store I visit often. I thought at the time it was a bit pricey for a piece of jewelry. I went back a few weeks later, not knowing there was a sale on all jewelry. When I went to buy it for the regular price I originally objected to..she tells me it's like 20% off. Small amount, but still satisfied. Something I will never get rid of!
