it's a new day, it's a new life

Hii guys, so new update. I recently got a new job. I'm working at Urban Outfitterssss. It's technically just a "seasonal" position, but hopefully they keep me. I really did not enjoy my office position before this, so I'm happy to finally be doing something that's more on the track to where I want to be. Haven't figured out exactlyyyy where that is yet, but fingers crossed.
This jean jacket I love, it was in the plus size section in f21. The floral dress is also f21, and the heels...so stunning. They're a bronze color JC---nastygal.

snapbacks and tattoos

Hellloooo. I hope everyone's been well. I sure have.
This dress is one of my faves from Urban a long time ago. My jean vest from f21, the boots are my new go to shoe from Solestruck..super on sale. And the main attraction.....my vogue snapback from Nastygal. I literally stalked their site for 2 weeks waiting for this hat to show up. Even in the middle of a hurricane and no electricity I snagged this thing. Later to find out the hat sold out in the first 5 hours of it being on the site. I don't play games.

PS: I wish I had some tattoos to go along with this snapback. I actually have one in mind, hope to get it soon.

california dreamin'

Today was a bit of an annoyance. So, I'm taking full advantage of this afternoon and relaxing with some American Pickers. My parents and I love catching old reruns...antiques always seem to brighten my spirits.
There's not much to the outfit...except one of my favorite pair of boots and my favorite over sized tee(representing my Marine). Speaking offff...Brandon left yesterday for Japan. He'll be back in Cali next March/April. So, I'm hoping to give him a visit before he gets out and comes home for good. I have to say, there is a part of me that will miss visiting him in California. It's become our thing. Oh well, we'll just have to go there for vacations every 6 months. :D

PS: the title california dreamin', I'm referring to the Mama's and the Papa's version. dig it.

Hiiii lovess, well something exciting happened! Brandon surprised me Thursday. I was expecting him to come home soon, but I wasn't sure when. He only has a year left in the Marines and then he's home for good!
By the way...the floral romper, my go-to-piece this summer. So easy.

Hi lovely's, pretty good weekend. Just got home from New Orleans. My mom made reservations for a brunch. So we drove up there this morning and spent some time walking around. There's no place like New Orleans...ready to go back.

Digging paisley

Heyyy honeyyys. I hope all is well! Welp, I started the Insanity again so I'm feeling goooood. It's always hard to get into the groove of working out, but once I'm in it I love it.

This tee is one of my faves from urban from like 3 years ago...dig it. These paisley pants are also to die for from f21. And the gorgeous tan heels are Steve Madden.

Happy Mother's Day. I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did. I finally got to hang out with some friends and was able to let loose. It was much needed!

Well, I have been having a pretty rough week. Let's just say long distance relationships are hard! Things aren't completely done, but we're at a crossroads. I may be making a quick trip to Cali soon to figure things out. :/

It's safe to say this weekend was a bore. This top is navy and cream stripped from f21, the shorts are super old from urban, and the lita's are of course here to stay.

Ahhh, I can't leave this hat alone. Sorry if it's becoming repetitive, but I have grown to seriously love this hat. Still not really sure where it came from. All I know is my mom gave it to me before throwing it out. She said it was my dad's grand-father's. That's all to the story. :)

I'm also wearing a beautiful light jean top from urban. The brown leather shorts are from Kohls. And the Edelman's from Nasty Gal of course speak for themselves.
